Franchising Veteran Peter Holt Added to Board of Advisors at Concerto Networks Inc

Concerto Networks, Inc., a multi-national franchise company that provides complete business technology solutions for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has appointed Peter D. Holt, Executive in Residence for Great Hill Partners, to a position on its Board of Advisors.

Holt brings over 20 years of franchise, business and marketing experience to his new position on the Board of Advisors. As Executive in Residence for Great Hill Partners, a Boston based private equity fund with more than $1.5 billion of capital under management, his primary role is to assist Great Hill Partners in the creation of a franchise portfolio. Before that, he was the Chief Operating Officer of 24seven Vending (US) Inc., a New Zealand based, publicly traded company starting a franchise system in the United States. Mr.
Holt worked seven years for Mail Boxes Etc. (MBE), the last three years as Executive Vice President, Franchise Sales and Development. MBE (now called The UPS Store) is the world’s largest franchisor of retail centers specializing in shipping, business and communications services. During his tenure the franchise system grew to more than 4,000 retail locations, including some 1,300 centers operating in 34 countries around the world. Prior to that, Mr. Holt was Vice President of International for I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt (ICBIY) and Java Coast Fine Coffees, affiliates of The Brice Group. Headquartered in Dallas, ICBIY was a franchise system of over 1,300 frozen yogurt outlets operating in 35 countries. Mr. Holt began his career in franchising at the International Franchise Association (IFA), the oldest and largest trade association in the world serving the interests of businesses that franchise.
