Quiznos Sub sells 100th franchise in Quebec

Quiznos Sub announced today that it has just awarded the 100th franchise for development in Quebec. With 32 restaurants open, Quiznos Sub is set to increase its presence in the market by opening 15 more restaurants by the end of the year and an additional 60 by the end of 2007.

Quiznos continues to interest many entrepreneurs ready for the quick service restaurant sector. “We’re pleased by the strong interest we’ve received so far and we project to sell our 115th franchise by the end of September,” said Greg MacDonald, President/Chief Operating Officer for Quiznos Canada Restaurant Corporation.

Restaurants in Quebec are performing remarkably well. “The last 15 store openings are currently averaging over $700,000 in sales annually”, said Greg MacDonald. “Our restaurants are succeeding in Quebec thanks to our signature gourmet toasted sandwiches and our unique modern dining environment,” he added.
