Hooters of Australia’s Sales Exceed Expectations in the First Month
The Hooters of Parramatta opened its doors on July 14th to an anxious crowd in Sydney, Australia. This is the first of 5 Hooters locations slated to open in Australia and New Zealand by the end of 2007. “Based on the sales from the Parramatta restaurant, we are very confident that Hooters will do well in the Australia market,” explained John Weber, EVP of Franchise Operations for Hooters of America.
The Hooters of Parramatta currently leads the pack with the highest international sales in the Hooters system and holds the highest international opening 7-day sales record of $115,000. Hooters of Parramatta, located at 132 James Ruse Drive, is the 430th Hooters location worldwide and marks the 20th country Hooters operates in.
