Pet Butler Wins Comerica Collin 60 Award, Recognizing Its Rapid Growth in 2006

Pet Butler, the nation’s leading pet waste cleanup service, has been recognized as the seventh fastest growing company in Collin County, Texas. Its ranking was announced Friday at the annual awards ceremony.
The company, which ranked 10th last year, has experienced a 72 percent compound annual growth rate based on its 2003 revenue, the base year used to calculate the Comerica Collin 60 finalists. Year by year, Pet Butler saw 30 percent growth in 2004, 55 percent growth in 2005, and a phenomenal 154 percent growth in 2006.
The Comerica Collin 60 annually recognizes the 60 fastest-growing companies in the county. Qualifying businesses had to have been operating since 2002, be privately owned, and have top-line sales in 2003 of $250,000 to $20 million. The companies were then ranked by the percentage of growth during the last three years. There are more than 13,000 privately held companies in Collin County.
Pet Butler proudly bills itself “#1 in the #2 business.” It charges a small per-visit fee for its technicians to collect dog and cat waste, carry it away, and dispose of it properly. Whether in yards or in public spaces, accumulated domestic animal waste can ruin lawns and present a significant source of water pollution.
