Unauthorized Wendy’s shut down
Wendy’s International sought a temporary restraining order against the operators of a recently reopened restaurant in Mattoon, Ill., claiming that the parent company hadn’t authorized the store.
Operators James P. May and Michael Quagliano agreed to close the store last week. The store was one of several former Wendy’s locations in central Illinois once operated by St. Louis-based franchisee WenAmerica.
