Franchise India Holding Gives Awards To Top Retailers
Franchise India Holding Pvt Ltd, an integrated solution provider to retail companies, gave away awards for 2007 to the country’s top retailers.
Reliance Industries Ltd was given the award for the best retailer of 2007, while Titan Industries Ltd (BSE:500114) was designated as the best franchiser. The watch maker also won an award for lifestyle and jewellery retailing.
The value retailer of the year award went to Hypercity of Rahejas. State-run oil marketing company Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BSE:500104) won the award for top forecourt retailer.
Hindustan Unilever Ltd (BSE:500696) picked up the award in the category of food, beverages, ice cream and juice parlours for its Kwality Walls brand. Mall of the year award went to Inorbit Malls India Pvt Ltd. Reliance Retail’s Gunender Kapoor was announced as the retail professional of the year.
A total of more than 80 awards were presented in various categories.
