Focus Point opened its 100th outlet in Kuala Lumpur
OPTICAL retail chain Focus Point opened its 100th outlet with a blast at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur shopping mall recently.
Deafening drumbeats reverberated through the complex as a lion dance troupe performed in front of the outlet before Focus Point Vision Care Group managing director Datuk Liaw Choon Liang officially launched the store.
The 100th outlet is an exercise in elegance and class as it is Focus Point’s latest open kiosk concept. It features a contemporary design to appeal to consumers in tune with the trendy look and feel of styles today.
He added that the outlet’s business model was based on consumer friendliness and themed it ‘the trendy family optical store’.
The outlet displays counters vertically instead of the conventional rectangular display counters.
According to Focus Point senior manager of business and franchise development Grace Gan, it is to enable consumers to browse through the eyewear collection with greater flexibility.
“In conjunction with the opening of our 100th store, special discounts will be offered covering all of our exclusive brands such as Jaguar, Tom Ford and Mariella Burani,” said Liaw.
The company has plans to open 15 more outlets this year.
