Plans for eight new Domino’s Pizza outlets
Dommal Food Services Sdn Bhd, the master franchise holder for Domino’s Pizza in Malaysia and Singapore, plans to open eight new outlets locally this year, said operations manager Derick de Souza.
Its 33rd outlet opened in Bandar Puchong Jaya in Selangor last month. It has 27 outlets in the Klang Valley, three in Johor Baru, two in Penang and one in Seremban.
“If opportunities arise, we’ll probably open more than eight outlets nationwide,” de Souza told StarBiz at the launch of five new pizzas at its Taman Melodies outlet recently.
They are Classified Chicken, Tuna Temptation, Vegie Fiesta, Spicy Sausage and Meat Mania.
De Souza said Dommal would consider all locations, including shopping complexes, hypermarkets, housing estates and new townships, for its new outlets. “We’ll continue to focus on the delivery segment in our expansion programme as our customers like to have their pizzas delivered to them,” he said.
