More Driver Hire Managers Invest In A Driver Hire Franchise

Transport and logistics recruitment specialist Driver Hire has announced that four members of its management team have made the transition from employee to franchisee in the last 12 months.
One of those was the South East’s Regional Manager Richard Pugh from Essex who is on target to reach a £500,000 first year turnover. Prior to joining Driver Hire in 2002, Richard worked for Amtrak were he gained invaluable sales experience. In 2007 Richard decided to invest in a franchise after witnessing the success of franchisees in his area.
He says: “Driver Hire approached me to run a franchise in East London and it seemed like a good option for me, as I could combine my Driver Hire knowledge with my sales experience. I’ve never looked back. Driver Hire is a strong brand and there is a great deal of support in terms of training and setting up the business.
“Confidence to set up my own franchise came from being part of a national network of over 100 franchises. I broke all records for a start up and have now got a broad customer base, it can be hard work but it is definitely worth it.” Driver Hire is to continue its nationwide expansion and is on the look out for new franchisees to purchase re-sales or new territories.
