Local Franchisee Of The Curtain Exchange Plans Up To 10 New U.S. Stores Next Year
Tanner-Meyer Group LLC has opened Curtain and Bedding Outlet, the first outlet store in The Curtain Exchange franchise, and plans are in place to develop as many as 10 new Curtain Exchange stores in the U.S. next year.
The Memphis-based group, led by Tim Tanner and Kip Meyer, owns two Curtain Exchange stores, one on Perkins Extended and one in Nashville. It recently opened a 1,500-square-foot outlet store at 4730 Poplar, which offers discounted bedding and drapery items from The Curtain Exchange lines, Tanner says.
Tanner and Meyer opened their first store in Memphis in 2005 and the second store in Nashville in 2006. That was after they were impressed with a Curtain Exchange store they had visited in Florida, one of 25 locations nationwide.
