Bookkeeping Express ‘Balances’ California Small Business’ Need For Certified Services With Aggressive Franchise Expansion Plan
A proven leader and experienced entrepreneur who has seen businesses flail with inefficient bookkeeping services is bringing to market a small business savior.
Greg S. Jones, CEO of Bookkeeping Express, the first U.S. franchise focused solely on bookkeeping services, today announced the company’s aggressive California development plans which call for more than 337 new territories to be serviced through the chain’s new locations. Founded in California as a single office more than 20 years ago, Bookkeeping Express grew to over 100 locations spread out across the United States through licensing agreements. In 2008, Jones restructured the business model and began plans to franchise Bookkeeping Express nationwide.
“We are ecstatic about returning to the California market. Now more than ever, small business owners need our support so they focus on what is important to them…growing their business,” said Jones, CEO of Bookkeeping Express. “The void is something we are eager to fill with entrepreneurs who want to cover several adjacent territories with our distinctive services.”
Today’s California development announcement comes just days after Jones publicized the company’s most recent agreements in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland and North Carolina, bringing the total of the company’s signed U.S. territories to more than 100 since beginning its aggressive franchise growth strategy less than 90 days ago.
With nearly 900,000 small businesses throughout California, Bookkeeping Express offers a much-needed service to companies that are not equipped or do not wish to handle accounting responsibilities such as setting up charts of accounts and general ledgers, monthly data entry, processing and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, producing monthly reports and tax reporting.
