XPRESSO Delight Coorparoo franchisee Edwina Williams is part of a business that won the 2008 Australian Business Award for Enterprise.
Mrs Williams runs a successful business supplying automatic coffee machines to customers across Brisbane.
Xpresso Delight, which maintains and stocks the machines on behalf of businesses, recently won the national award ahead of 118 other businesses at the Australian Business Awards.
Mrs Williams said she was proud to be part of the company’s success after buying a franchise with five machines in 2006.
She said she had nine corporate machines and six smaller ones and was restocking them with coffee up to three times a week.
“I think people are generally expecting proper coffee now rather than instant. They’re certainly not happy with instant coffee any more,” she said.
