Retrofitness Announces Expansion Into Washington DC

Retrofitness, Inc., an awe-inspiring 1980’s-themed gym chain, has announced plans to develop new health clubs throughout the Washington D.C. DMA. Calling for at least 17 new locations during the next three years, Retrofitness will execute its growth strategy through a combination of company and franchisee owned locations.
Developing the Washington D.C. DMA market will significantly increase Retrofitness operations in the area, which currently includes one site under construction in Columbia-Jessup, Maryland.
At the present time, 17 sites have been identified for the region with one location in Columbia – Jessup slated to begin operations by the end of 2009. “Retrofitness has a robust growth plan that is aligned with strategic franchise and operating partners who are ready for expansion,” said Eric Casaburi, Founder and CEO of Retrofitness, Inc. “During a time when development has become stagnant for companies, we are offering new job opportunities to local consumers as well as a new business investment opportunity with a brand that has been built to weather both good and economic times. We look forward to offering consumers in the market an economical approach to a healthy lifestyle without compromising quality or value.”
