Snappy Tomato – Harvest Restaurant Offers Value, Quality

Mention Snappy Tomato, and heads turn. The name is whimsical; it’s fun.
That’s probably what has snagged so many passers-by into this new restaurant on Alabama 53 in Harvest.
The variety has kept them coming back.
The pizza is only a beginning. What to try next? The baked hoagies or the Snappoli calzone are good choices. Salads are fresh and filling. The buffet is a bargain.
And Snappy Tomato has a family atmosphere. Electronic games in the back of the restaurant will keep youngsters occupied while the parents pig out.
Snappy Tomato is a pizza concept based in northern Kentucky. It was founded in 1978 and began an aggressive franchising program in 1993, mostly in Kentucky and Tennessee. The Harvest restaurant is Alabama’s second after Tuscaloosa.
Folks living in the Harvest and Toney area have quickly noticed this as a versatile and affordable place for a family meal. Its all-you-can-eat buffet costs $5.99 for lunch or dinner and is reduced to $4.99 on Tuesdays.
It consists of salad ingredients, two pasta choices and a selection of the restaurant’s specialty pizzas. Maybe the best part, though, is an additional spread of dessert pizzas.
Snappy Tomato’s ranch pizza is outstanding.
