Pizza Fusion Reaches Saudi Arabian Franchise Deal

Pizza Fusion, the Fort Lauderdale-based chain known for its organic menu and environmental practices, announced its first international expansion this week.
The company reached a master franchise agreement for Saudi Arabia with the Samir Group, a Saudi conglomerate that began franchising more than 55 years ago with Kodak.
Under the accord, the first restaurant is scheduled to open in Jeddah in June. Additional locations in Jeddah, Riyadh City and elsewhere in the Arabian kingdom are planned, Pizza Fusion said.
“We’ve received many inquiries to expand outside the U.S., but have been very particular about who we select with regard for the core values Pizza Fusion was founded upon,” Randy Romano, executive vice president of sales, said in a statement.
