The family-run specialty coffee and tea retailer, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, is a resident in Camp Pendleton as of June 25 with the addition of a new store located in the Main Side Center of the U.S. Marine Corps Base in San Diego’s North County. The new location was opened by franchisee Bobby Azinian, who also opened the neighboring Johnny Rockets, another California brand like The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

The 1500+ square foot location includes a drive through window, allowing customers to order beverages and food without leaving their vehicles, along with a large patio with outside seating. The Coffee Bean is the first and only gourmet coffee house on the Marine Base. The store kicked off with a three-day grand opening celebration July 8, 9 and 10 during which raffles, live music, family activities and free samples were provided. Read more here.
