The Chinese Franchise Market

Franchising, a successful business method proven and tested in the developed countries, although was introduced into China just a decade ago, has been positively booming in recent years as a result of encouragement of the government and endeavour of our association.
More and more enterprises adopt franchising to expand their business and establish brand recognition.
Numerous investors won their business by buying franchise.
China commercial franchise has achieved a rapid growth with the economy development of the country.
According to the data from China Chain Store &Franchise Association (CCFA):
* China franchise systems have reached 2,800 by the end of 2007, an increase of 7.7% than that of the year before.
* Up to the end of 2007, the total number of the commercial franchise outlets in China exceeds 230, 000, 15% more than that in 2006, ranking the number one in the world.
* The average number of outlets per system increased from 57 in 2004 to 82 in 2007.
* The rapid growth indicates China’s commercial franchise prosperity.
With a population of 1.3 billion, China is becoming a focal point in the world franchise market.
