Could Running A Franchise Offer You A New Start?

Fancy being your own boss? Well, you can cut the risk associated with working for yourself and get a headstart in business by becoming a franchisee.
You get to join a proven business success, usually with full training and marketing help, meaning you can be making money from day one.
And you can choose from a variety of industries and firms to find the right opportunity for you.
This year has been tough for small businesses, but many franchised firms are bucking the trend, adding new branches.
That’s because banks are more likely to lend a helping hand to franchisees, because you are buying into an established success.
“For an established franchise, most of the major banks will lend up to 70% of the start-up costs, while for new franchises the figure will probably be around 50-60%,” says Cathryn Hayes, head of franchising at HSBC.
