Marrybrown To Open More Outlets In M’sia, Overseas

Malaysia’s largest homegrown fast-food chain, Marrybrown Fried Chicken Sdn Bhd, plans to opens 35 outlets in the country and overseas next year.
Group managing director Nancy Liew told a press conference that 20 outlets would be set up in Malaysia and the rest in the Middle Eastern, African and Asia-Pacific countries.
“We will franchise the rights of Marrybrown Fried Chicken for the majority of the local outlets while all the overseas outlets would be franchised,” she said.
Liew said this after a dialogue session between International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Mustapa Mohamed and Indian businessmen in Chennai.
She was part of a trade and investment mission to India led by Mustapa.
“We are looking for franchisees with sound financial background and strong networking to expand the business.
