Childcare Franchise Option
A new childcare option is in the works for Polk. Discovery Point is coming to the Highland City Town Center at 5185 U.S. 98 S. in Lakeland.
According to Rusty Sneiderman, chief operating officer, the location will be about 10,000 square feet and will be licensed to serve 225-230 children.
The company takes children between the ages of six weeks and 12 years.
Discovery Point will have bus service to and from four elementary schools in the area. It plans on creating 35 jobs. The company hopes to begin enrolling late next year. It is currently looking for a franchisee for the location.
