Health Care Biz Goes Up For Sale

The so-called Neiman Marcus of home health care businesses is up for sale in Altamonte Springs.
The BrightStar franchise office owned by James and Karen Pridemore has officially been on the market for about two weeks with a price tag of $114,000.
It is currently undergoing a two-survey, third-party accreditation process by the Joint Commission as required by Florida law. The first survey has been completed, but the second will be held off until a new owner is in place.
BrightStar focuses on a range of health care services from companion to skilled care, as well as medical staffing for facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes. While the company focuses on the senior population, it also works with children and families.
The Pridemores purchased the office in 2008 but officially opened the doors in March 2009.
