Portugal’s First Costa Coffee Opens In Faro

The English coffee shop franchise, Costa Coffee, opened its first coffee shop in Portugal at Faro Airport on Wednesday, in a franchising contract with Marhotel.
Costa Coffee is currently the second largest international chain in the coffee shop business worldwide, owning over 1,300 coffee shops, of which 900 are in the United Kingdom alone.
The franchise was created in 1971 in Lambeth, London, by Bruno and Sergio Costa, two Italian brothers who specialised in coffee.
