Sunbrook Academy Looking For Franchisees, Plans Six Centers In Greenville Area

A company that develops, operates and franchises preschools has selected Greenville County as one of its first expansions out of the Atlanta metro area and hopes to have six schools in the Greenville-Spartanburg area in two years.
“We really believe in Greenville. We believe our brand will be a great fit here,” said Scott Sutton, vice president of franchising for Sunbrook Academy.
The company — expanding by franchising its operations, in-house developed curriculum and curriculum presentation — is researching sites in Simpsonville, he said. Company officials also are in discussions with one person about buying a franchise.
Plans are to begin or open three schools in 2010, with another three in the area by the end of 2011, Sutton said. However, if franchise owners are not found immediately, Sunbrook’s corporate organization will find sites, build and operate the schools. Full article.
